Abstract

Provided are a display panel and a display apparatus. The display panel comprises: a display area, and a peripheral area surrounding the display area. The peripheral area comprises a wiring area, the wiring area being located at one side of the display area. The wiring area is provided with an input area and a dummy area, the dummy area and the input area being arranged in sequence along a direction away from the display area, the input area being provided with multiple input protrusions, and the dummy area being provided with multiple dummy protrusions. The display panel further comprises a substrate, and multiple signal lines located on the substrate. A first spacing area is provided between the multiple input protrusions and the multiple dummy protrusions, and at most one of the multiple signal lines passes through the first spacing area. Thus, in the binding process of an integrated circuit, cracks in an inorganic insulating layer can be reduced or avoided, and defects caused by cracks in the inorganic insulating layer can be avoided.
