Abstract
An ultrasound imaging system acquires, stores, and displays a sequence of ultrasound images of microvasculature acquired during a cycle of contrast agent wash-in and wash-out. The sequence of images is recalled from memory and a region of interest containing microvessels in one of the images is selected using a user interface. The sizes of the microvessels in the region of interest are measured. A slider control on the user interface is manipulated to select a range of microvessel sizes in the region of interest for assessment.
