Abstract

A rotary cutting tool (100) includes a support body (110), a plurality of 3D printed support arm assemblies (200) removably fastened to the support body, and a 3D printed coolant manifold (500). Each support arm assembly (200) includes a base (201) removably attached to an exterior of the support body (110), and a plurality of support arms (202) extending from the base, with at least one of the arms defining a pocket (101) adapted to receive a cutting insert (402). The coolant manifold (500) includes a central opening adapted to be removably connected to a supply of coolant, and a plurality of supply legs (504) in communication with the central opening and operatively connected to one of the support arms of each support arm assembly (200) for supplying coolant to each of the pockets (210).
