Abstract

An extruder (10) includes: a supply module (100); a mixing module (200) to form an electrode slurry (30) by mixing an active material, a binder, and a conductive material from the supply module (100); a discharge module (300) to discharge the electrode slurry (30); and a sensor (250) to measure a characteristic value of the electrode slurry (30). The mixing module (200) includes a first screw (211) and a second screw (212), the first screw (211) and the second screw (212) including screw threads (211b, 212b) on an outer circumference thereof to rotate to engage with each other; a barrel (220) including a first barrel (220_1) and a second barrel (220_2) accommodating the first screw (211) and the second screw (212), respectively, and facing each other to form a hole through which the electrode slurry (30) is transmitted; a first gap adjustment module (240) to adjust a gap between the first barrel (220_1) and the second barrel (220_2); and a control module (500) to control the first gap adjustment module (240) based on the measured characteristic value.
