A vehicle collision safety protection system and method, and a vehicle and a medium. The vehicle collision safety protection system comprises: a first protection switch unit, which is arranged in a high-voltage loop of a traction battery; a second protection switch unit, which is connected in series to a positive electrode of the traction battery; at least one collision detection unit, which is used for detecting whether a collision occurs at a vehicle; and a control unit, which is used for controlling, when a collision occurs at the vehicle, the second protection switch unit to turn off and the first protection switch unit to turn off, so as to perform dual protection.
