Abstract

The present invention relates to a frame (10) for an aircraft fuselage. The frame (10) comprises a primary frame segment (12) and a secondary frame segment (14). The primary frame segment (12) provides a primary arc with two primary end sections (18) and comprises a primary inner surface (22) and a primary outer surface (24). The secondary frame segment (14) provides a secondary arc with two secondary end sections (20) and comprises a secondary inner surface (26) and a secondary outer surface (28). The primary frame segment (12) and the secondary frame segment (14) are configured to be couplable to each other such that their end sections (18, 20) partially overlap so that a portion of the secondary inner surface (26) of the secondary end sections (20) of the secondary frame segment (14) abuts on a portion of the primary outer surface (24) of the primary end sections (18) of the primary frame segment (12), thereby forming transition areas from the primary frame segment (12) to the secondary frame segment (14).
