Abstract

The present application provides a film coating device and a film coating method. The film coating device comprises a conveying mechanism, a film coating mechanism and a guide mechanism. The conveying mechanism is configured to convey a battery in a first direction; the film coating mechanism comprises a driving assembly, two supports arranged at an interval and two pressing members arranged in parallel, and the supports are connected to the driving assembly; and the film coating mechanism is mounted on the guide mechanism.
