Abstract

A pallet conveyor comprises a first conveyor belt (13) forming a first belt conveying surface (130) extending along a conveying direction (c), and a second conveyor belt (14) forming a second belt conveying surface (140) extending along the conveying direction (c). The first belt conveying surface (130) and the second belt conveying surface (140) are arranged parallel and side by side as well as spaced apart from each other with respect to a transverse direction (t) perpendicular to the conveying direction (c). The pallet conveyor further comprises a plurality of conveyor rollers (10, 10a) arranged along two rows (101, 102) extending along the conveying direction (c) and forming two roller conveying surfaces (105, 106) extending along the conveying direction (c). The two roller conveying surfaces (105, 106) are arranged between the first conveyor belt (13) and the second conveyor belt (14) parallel and side by side to the first belt conveying surface (130) and the second belt conveying surface (140). Each conveyor roller (10, 10a) of the plurality of conveyor rollers (10, 10a) is driven directly by at least one of the first conveyor belt (13) and the second conveyor belt (14).
