Abstract

To provide an X-ray inspection device that can inspect articles without having to provide additional X-ray line sensors even when the articles are conveyed by a plurality of conveyors having different conveying speeds. In an X-ray inspection device 10, an X-ray line sensor 14 detects amounts of X-rays transmitted through a first article G1 and a second article G2 at a timing based on a conveying speed of a first conveyor 121. Speeds of the first conveyor 121 and a second conveyor 122 are known, and any effect of a speed difference on an inspection of the second article G2 is therefore preferably corrected. Therefore, there is no need for any additional X-ray line sensors 14 to be provided.
