Abstract

A measurement device (100) for determining the conductivity of a coolant in a liquid cooling system is provided. The measurement device comprises a reference resistance (Rk) arranged in parallel with a fluid path (26) of a coolant conduit (22) of the liquid cooling system (20); a voltage sensor (110) configured to measure a voltage (V2) across the reference resistance (Rk); and a control unit (120) configured to: obtain the voltage (V2) from the first voltage sensor (110); obtain a primary voltage (V1) across a primary fluid path (25) of the coolant conduit (22) of the liquid cooling system (20); and determine the conductivity of the coolant based on the voltage (V2), the primary voltage (V1), and the reference resistance (Rk).
