Abstract

There is provided a method for automatically providing assistance in control of a process plant. The method comprises obtaining, for a predetermined past time period, first data indicative of process variables that are associated with the process plant and that have process variable values that have changed during an operation of the process plant during the predetermined past time period. The method further comprises obtaining, for the predetermined past time period, second data indicative of a workflow of operator actions associated with the operation. The method further comprises obtaining third data based on merging the first data and the second data. The method further comprises, based on inputting the third data into a multimodal artificial intelligence/machine learning model, providing, by the multimodal AI/ML model, assistance in control of the process plant. The assistance is at least one of pseudocode and control code.
