Abstract

Present disclosure relates to a space compensating system for a battery unit comprising one or more cell arrays and a housing, the one or more cell arrays being arranged in said housing, the space compensating system comprising a plate arranged on a first cell array of the one or more cell arrays, and one or more adjustable elements configured to be adjustably mounted to the housing of the battery unit, wherein the one or more adjustable elements each has an end portion adapted to adjustably engage the plate for adjusting a pressure exerted by the plate onto the cell array for clamping the one or more cell arrays against the housing.
