Abstract
A receiver is described having first and second phase modulators each generating a phase signal that is a phase modulated product of a carrier signal and an antenna-derived signal. The first phase modulator has a positive phase-voltage slope and the second phase modulator has a negative phase-voltage slope. ADCs convert the phase modulator outputs to first and second digital signals and a differential digital phase demodulator generates a digital output based on the first and second digital signals, wherein the digital output is a representation of the antenna-derived signal.
