Abstract
The present invention discloses an apparatus, comprising means for: obtaining a received signal (x) from a plurality of Optical Network Units, ONUs (121, 122,123) connected to the OLT, wherein the received signal comprises at least a desired signal (d) originating from a first ONU (121); determining a magnitude (b) of the desired signal (d) based on the received signal; adjusting an equalizer based on the magnitude (b) of the desired signal (d); equalizing the received signal (x) using the equalizer, thereby obtaining an equalized signal (z) corresponding to an estimate of desired signal (d); providing the equalized signal (z) for further processing.
