Abstract

An image forming apparatus includes a first setting unit configured to set, in a predetermined state in which reception of data via a local area network is not performed, a first setting related to a function of automatically turning off a power source of the image forming apparatus, and a second setting unit configured to set, in a state in which data is received via a local area network, a second setting related to the function.
