Abstract
Disclosed herein are systems, methods, and instrumentalities associated with in-loop filtering. According to embodiments of the disclosure, a video decoding device may be configured to obtain, from a video bitstream, a plurality of coefficients of a filter to be applied to a video block. The video decoding device may be further configured to determine one or more inputs to the filter, wherein the one or more inputs may include a first set of samples generated for the video block using a bilaterial filter. The video decoding device may then apply the filter to the video block based on the one or more inputs, wherein the filter may be applied using the plurality of coefficients obtained from the video bitstream.
