Abstract
Disclosed is a printing ink for a heat-sensitive recording material, which is either the following (A) or (B): (A) a heat-sensitive color-developing printing ink containing a leuco dye, a developer, a vinylpyrrolidone-vinyl acetate copolymer, and a solvent, wherein the heat-sensitive color-developing printing ink contains, as the developer, at least one member selected from the group consisting of a N,N'-diaryl urea compound represented by the following formula (1): <img class="EMIRef" id="43bc59cf-b630-4f9c-86e4-d6506d2721ec-ia01" /> wherein R<0> represents a C<1-12> alkyl group, a C<7-12> aralkyl group, or a C<6-12> aryl group, wherein the aralkyl group and the aryl group may be substituted with a C<1-12> alkyl group, a C<1-12> alkoxy group, a C<6-12> aryl group, or a halogen atom, and multiple R<0>s may be the same or different, and A<1> represents a hydrogen atom or a C<1-4> alkyl group, and multiple A<1>s may be the same or different; a compound represented by the following formula (2): <img class="EMIRef" id="43bc59cf-b630-4f9c-86e4-d6506d2721ec-ia02" /> wherein R<1> to R<5> are the same or different, and represent a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, a nitro group, an amino group, an alkyl group, an alkoxy group, an aryloxy group, an alkylcarbonyloxy group, an arylcarbonyloxy group, an alkylcarbonylamino group, an arylcarbonylamino group, an alkylsulfonylamino group, an arylsulfonylamino group, a monoalkylamino group, a dialkylamino group, or an arylamino group; and 5-(N-3-methylphenyl-sulfonamide)-N',N"-bis-(3-methylphenyl)-isophthalic acid diamide, and (B) a protective-layer printing ink for a heat-sensitive recording material, containing a binder, a slipperiness-imparting agent, and a solvent, wherein the protective-layer printing ink contains a polyvinyl acetal resin as the binder, and an alkyl phosphate ester and/or a salt thereof as the slipperiness-imparting agent.
