Abstract
The present disclosure provides a methacrylic resin composition which has excellent heat resistance, excellent heat decomposition resistance (thermal stability), and excellent moldability, and of which the discoloration (e.g., yellowing) is suppressed. A methacrylic resin composition according to the present disclosure contains a first methacrylic copolymer (A) consisting of 10 to 99 mass% of a methyl methacrylate unit, 1 to 40 mass% of at least one type of isopropenyl aromatic compound unit (UI), and 0 to 60 mass% of at least one type of other unit (UO), has a glass transition temperature of 120 to 150°C, and further contains 1 to 1,000 ppm of at least one type of organic disulfide compound (D), in which a total remaining amount of raw material monomers of the methacrylic copolymer (A) is 0 to 1.00 mass%.
