Abstract

An adhesive sheet having an adhesive layer is provided, where the adhesive layer contains an acrylic adhesive polymer and a modified polymer which is at least one species selected from the group consisting of a modified polyolefin and a modified polydiene, and the acrylic adhesive polymer and the modified polymer have undergone phase separation in a surface layer portion of the adhesive layer. Also an adhesive composition which comprises an acrylic adhesive polymer, a modified polymer and a solvent is provided, where phase separation into the acrylic adhesive polymer and the modified polymer occurs in the course of forming the adhesive layer on a substrate by applying the adhesive composition onto the substrate and removing the solvent.
