Abstract

A culture device is a culture device that cultures a microorganism or a cell that uses a raw material gas containing a combustible gas for proliferation or production of an organic substance, the culture device including a culture tank that accommodates a culture solution for culturing the microorganism or the cell, a culture solution tank that stores the culture solution to be supplied to the culture tank, a culture target supply path that supplies the microorganism or the cell to the culture tank, a raw material gas tank that stores the raw material gas, a bubble generation device for mixing the raw material gas with the culture solution before the culture solution is supplied to the culture tank, and a culture solution supply path that is disposed between the culture solution tank and the culture tank, and supplies the culture solution mixed with the raw material gas by the bubble generation device to the culture tank, the culture solution supply path being provided separately from the culture target supply path.
