Abstract
The current invention relates to a solid coating comprising at least one layer of a metal oxide and at least one layer of a metal fluoride or metal oxyfluoride. The invention further pertains to a substrate coated with the present coating, to a use of the coating for protecting a substrate and to a method for coating a substrate with the instant coating, in particular for protecting the substrate against erosion, corrosion, oxidation or fluorination.
