Abstract
Gas turbine engines, rotors thereof, methods for operating the gas turbine engines, and aircraft including the gas turbine engines are provided. The rotors (200) include rotor blades (202) each having an airfoil (202) extending from a root (210) to a tip (212) and having a leading edge (206) and a trailing edge (208), and a rotor disk (204) coupled to the rotor blades configured for rotation with a shaft and to receive a portion of a fluid flow from a fan. The airfoil is configured to have a first camber angle adjacent to the root that is greater than a second camber angle adjacent to the tip, wherein the difference therebetween is at least 15 degrees. The airfoil is configured to have a first stagger angle adjacent to the root that is less than a second stagger angle adjacent to the tip, wherein the difference therebetween is at least 10 degrees.
