Abstract
A space filler (210; 230; 240; 260) for forming a fibrous preform (200) may comprise an additively manufactured ceramic material. The additively manufactured ceramic material may define a plurality of pores (214; 234; 244; 264). A shape of the additively manufactured ceramic material may complement a shape of a void (204) formed by fibrous regions (202) of the fibrous preform (200).
