Abstract

A fan and low-pressure compressor assembly of a gas turbine engine includes a fan (42) operably connected to a first shaft (40) of the gas turbine engine, and a low-pressure compressor rotor (76) operably connected to the first shaft (40), the low-pressure compressor rotor (76) and the fan (42) sharing a common central longitudinal axis. A fan load path (88) of the fan (42) is separate from a low-pressure compressor rotor load path (116) of the low-pressure compressor rotor (76).
