Abstract

The invention concerns a wind turbine (100), comprising- a rotor hub (112) with a spinner (118), wherein the spinner (118) comprises a blade opening (124),- a wind turbine rotor blade (110) which is inserted with its root portion (114) into the blade opening (124) and connected to the rotor hub (112),- a rain deflector (200), the rain deflector (200) being arranged on an outer surface (130) of the wind turbine rotor blade (110) such that it surrounds the root portion (114) of the wind turbine rotor blade (110),- an intermediate cover (300), which is configured to be arranged in a circumferential gap (126) between the spinner (118) and the rain deflector (200) in order to seal the circumferential gap (126) between the spinner (118) and the rain deflector (200) such that both the rain deflector (200) and the intermediate cover (300) prevent water from entering the rotor hub (112).The invention also relates to an intermediate cover (300).
