Abstract
Spectacles having a spectacle lens achieving a myopia progression inhibition effect or a hyperopia reducing effect, the spectacle lens comprising: a central clear region that realizes a prescription power of a wearer and includes an eye point of the spectacle lens; an annular functional region that includes a portion with a power different from the prescription power and surrounds the central clear region; and an annular peripheral clear region that realizes the prescription power and surrounds the functional region, and a width of the peripheral clear region in a top-bottom direction on a straight line in the top-bottom direction passing through the eye point is smaller than an equivalent circle diameter of the central clear region.
