Abstract

An image forming apparatus (10) comprising an internal load (100, 130, 140, 150) provided inside the image forming apparatus, a connection unit (109, 110) to which an external load is connectable, and a computation unit (101) configured to calculate a power consumption value of the internal load. The computation unit adds a power consumption value of the external load connected to the connection unit and the power consumption value of the internal load in accordance with a power supply state of the external load.
