Abstract

This application provides a cross-end interaction method and a related device, and relates to the field of terminal technologies. According to the method, when displaying a first element, a first electronic device starts a target application and displays a hidden-representation icon through a first stage of a first operation; collects the first element into the target application and switches the hidden-representation icon to a collection-representation icon through a second stage of the first operation; and switches the collection-representation icon to the hidden-representation icon again after the first element is collected. Before the first element is collected, a second electronic device displays the hidden-representation icon. After the first element is collected, the hidden-representation icon on the second electronic device is switched to the floating-representation icon through a third operation. In this case, the floating-representation icon includes a first icon indicating the first element and a first corner mark indicating that the first element is from an electronic device other than the second electronic device. In this application, an element is collected on one device, and an icon of the element is automatically synchronized on another device, to improve cross-end interaction efficiency.
