Abstract

This edge terminal forms a first edge terminal in a system that includes: the first edge terminal that includes a machine-learned model and that processes acquired data; a second edge terminal that can be linked with the first edge terminal over a network; and a server that can be linked with the first edge terminal and the second edge terminal over the network. The edge terminal comprises: a reception unit that receives update information of specific software; and a processing request unit that, upon receiving the update information, requests the second edge terminal to perform substitution processing of the acquired data using the machine-learned model in the second edge terminal.
