Abstract

Embodiments relate to a method 100 for improving an opening of a flap of a vehicle. The method comprises obtaining a movement profile indicative of a trajectory of a user relative to the vehicle and estimating, by a trained machine-learning model and based on the movement profile, whether the flap is to be opened. The trained machine-learning model is configured to generate an embedding based on the movement profile. If it is estimated by the trained machine-learning model that the flap is to be opened, it is determined whether the embedding comprises an outlier. If it is determined that the embedding does not comprise an outlier, the opening of the flap is triggered.
