Abstract

The present invention concerns a decision support system comprising: - a calculator (204) adapted to segment a battlefield environment into a plurality of layers, and - an obtaining unit (202) adapted to obtain data representative of a position of at least one suspicious entity with respect to the layers of the battlefield environment, the calculator (204) being further adapted to determine a level of threat of said at least one suspicious entity among a plurality of entities in a battlefield environment, the calculator (204) evaluating said level of threat with respect to a reference entity to be protected, the calculator (204) being adapted to determine said level of threat using the data obtained by the obtaining unit (202).
