Abstract
A method and system for real-time processing of raw data from nanopore gene sequencing is provided. In the method, preprocessing and rectangle rotation on raw data obtained from gene sequencing can be performed to convert the data into a continuous single nanopore data structure with a specifiable length. Then, compression on the data after the preprocessing and the rectangle rotation is performed to eliminate invalid data. The data processing method designed in this way as well as a digital circuit and a hardware architecture which are realized in cooperation with the data processing method are particularly suitable for compressing the raw data in the field of large-throughput nanopore gene sequencing. Using the solution of the present disclosure can solve harsh requirements of the prior art for a transmission bandwidth, a computing performance, and a storage medium bandwidth and capacity, and greatly reduce a hardware cost. Since a performance requirement for a back end is reduced, miniaturization of a device can be realized, overall power consumption of the device is reduced, and also a further improvement of the sequencing throughput is facilitated. Meanwhile, since a data amount is reduced, a back end resolving server can perform transmission and resolving at the same time, and a sequencing time can be shortened relatively.
