Abstract
A cover (300) is configured to cover an open end of a battery housing of the battery cell (10) for accommodating an electrode assembly (100) in the battery housing (200). The cover has an injection hole (H1) to be sealed by a plug (400). The cover comprises a flat portion (310) surrounding the injection hole, an edge portion (320) formed at an edge of the cover so as to be coupled to the battery housing, and a plurality of electrode coupling portions (330) configured to be coupled to the electrode assembly of the battery cell. The electrode coupling portions are arranged between the flat portion and the edge portion and are spaced apart from each other. The electrode coupling portions are respectively formed as a depression that is recessed from the flat portion for the flat portion to be spaced apart from the electrode assembly when the electrode coupling portions are coupled to the electrode assembly.
