Abstract

Disclosed are positive electrodes and all-solid-state batteries including positive electrodes. A positive electrode includes a positive electrode current collector, and a positive electrode active material layer on the positive electrode current collector. The positive electrode active material layer includes a positive electrode active material and a solid electrolyte. The positive electrode active material layer includes a surface section and a deep section. An amount of lithium impurities in the surface section is greater than an amount of lithium impurities in the deep section. The amount of lithium impurities in the surface section is in a range of ≥ 300 ppm to ≤ 700 ppm.
