Abstract
Provided are a cover plate assembly (100, 200) and a battery cell of a secondary battery. The cover plate assembly (100, 200) includes a cover plate (110) provided with a pole post installation hole (112A, 112B); a lower insulation plate (150) located on a first side (110S1) of the cover plate (110) and having a through hole (151A, 151B) corresponding to the pole post installation hole (112A, 112B); and a pole post (220A, 220B) passing through the through hole (151A, 151B) and the pole post installation hole (112A, 112B). In a second direction perpendicular to a first direction (Z), one of the pole post (220A, 220B) and the lower insulation plate (150) includes a protrusion portion (150P, 225P) while the other one includes a recess portion (150R, 225R) matched with the protrusion portion (150P, 225P). The pole post (220A, 220B) further includes a main body portion (225).
