Abstract

This phased array antenna device comprises: a plurality of real elements; a signal processing unit provided for each real element to convert an analog signal received by the real element into digital signal data; a data processing unit which is provided for each real element and which, for each real element and each virtual element assumed to be located within a predetermined range of the real element, subjects data output from the signal processing unit to delay processing based on the positions and orientation directions of the real element and the virtual element; and an adding unit that performs addition processing of the data from the plurality of real elements after the delay processing and the data from the plurality of virtual elements after the delay processing.
