Abstract

Provided are a method for performing wireless communication by a first device, and a device for supporting same. The method may comprise the steps of: obtaining first radio link failure (RLF) configuration information related to a first altitude including information on a first maximum number of times of out-of-sync (OOS) related to the first altitude and information on a first RLF timer related to the first altitude, and second RLF configuration information related to a second altitude including information on a second maximum number of times of OOS related to the second altitude and information on a second RLF timer related to the second altitude; identifying the altitude of the first device as the first altitude; selecting the first maximum number of times of OOS related to the first altitude and the first RLF timer related to the first altitude on the basis of the altitude of the first device being identified as the first altitude; and starting the first RLF timer related to the first altitude on the basis of the number of times of OOS reaching the first maximum number of times of OOS related to the first altitude. For example, the number of times of the OOS may be increased on the basis of obtaining information on the OOS from a lower layer of the first device.
