Abstract
A hydraulic brake system (10) for an industrial vehicle includes a master cylinder (12) having a brake pedal, a brake device (13), and a master cylinder fluid passage. The hydraulic brake system (10) includes a hydraulic fluid tank (12), a control valve (14, 141), an actuator (15), an actuator fluid passage, a fluid return passage, a first solenoid valve (34), a second solenoid, a third solenoid valve (75), and a controller (28). When braking is performed by the master cylinder (12), the controller controls the first solenoid valve (34) to open the master cylinder fluid passage, and the second solenoid valve (36) to close the actuator fluid passage. When braking is performed by the actuator (15), the controller (28) controls the second solenoid valve (36) to open the master cylinder fluid passage, and the second solenoid valve (36) to close the actuator fluid passage, and when the hydraulic pressure of the brake device (13) is released, the controller (28) controls the third solenoid valve (75) to open the fluid return passage.
