Abstract
A battery module (1000), including a plurality of secondary batteries (100), and a housing (300) accommodating the plurality of secondary batteries, wherein the housing includes a first cooling plate (310) supporting lower portions of the plurality of secondary batteries, and one or more second cooling plates (320) connected to the first cooling plate, the one or more second cooling plates surrounding at least portions of side surfaces of the plurality of secondary batteries.
