Abstract

A battery cell (1), a method for assembling the battery cell (1), and a battery pack are provided. In the battery cell (1), a tab (22) in an electrode assembly (20) extends in a first direction (X) without bending. A connecting sheet (31) is provided on an end surface (2221) of a second end (222) of a tab (22) exposed from a main body (21), and the connecting sheet (31) is welded to the end surface (2221) of the second end (222) to form a welding mark (32) extending in a second direction (Y). The tab (22) only needs to be exposed from the main body (21) by a short distance to achieve connection with the connecting sheet (31), thereby increasing the capacity of the battery cell (1) and enhancing the energy density of the battery cell (1).
