Abstract

An aerosol generation device according to an embodiment may comprise: a body having an inner space into which an aerosol-generating article is inserted from one surface of the body; a susceptor accommodated in the body to heat the aerosol-generating article; an induction coil surrounding the susceptor to generate an alternating magnetic field; and a control unit controlling operations of the aerosol generation device and including at least one processor, wherein the susceptor includes a hollow portion for increasing inductance of the susceptor during heating.
