Abstract
A hydrogel for treatment of body cavity injury is derived from a chitosan derivative in which an aldonic acid is bound to an amino group of a glucosamine unit of chitosan by dehydration condensation. The hydrogel for treatment of body cavity injury has a granular shape. The hydrogel is injected into a body cavity using an injection device, and used for wound treatment of the body cavity. A kit for treatment of body cavity injury includes: an injection device; a tube to be connected to the injection device; and a hydrogel for treatment of body cavity injury, filled in the injection device and having a granular shape; wherein the hydrogel for treatment of body cavity injury is derived from a chitosan derivative in which an aldonic acid is bound to an amino group of a glucosamine unit of chitosan by dehydration condensation.
