Abstract
A guidance device through detection of cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) performance includes a pair of electrode pads configured to be attached to a patient's body; a signal providing unit configured to provide a signal to the pair of electrode pads; a differential amplifier connected to the pair of electrode pads and configured to generate an amplified signal proportional to a difference between input signals at both ends provided from the signal providing unit; and a control unit configured to store a normal speed range for a plurality of amplified signals generated from the differential amplifier, and determine whether CPR is being performed and whether CPR is performed normally based on a speed of the plurality of amplified signals generated from the differential amplifier.
