Abstract

There is provided apparatus for enabling space charge distribution measurement of a high voltage cable (110). The apparatus comprises: a compartment (140; 240; 340; 440) for holding a pulsed electro-acoustic, PEA, sensor (260; 360) in contact with the high voltage cable; and a coupling structure (130; 230; 330; 424; 529) configured to couple the compartment to the high voltage cable between a base of a termination device (120; 420) of the high voltage cable and a ground screen (150; 450) of the high voltage cable.
