Abstract

A protective film 10 which is used by being attached to a resin substrate 21 in a case of performing heat bending on the resin substrate 21 while heating the resin substrate 21, the protective film comprising a base material layer and a pressure sensitive adhesive layer which is positioned between the base material layer and the resin substrate, and is adhered to the resin substrate,in which the base material layer is composed of a laminate including a first layer which is positioned on a side opposite to the pressure sensitive adhesive layer and a second layer which is positioned on a side of the pressure sensitive adhesive layer, and the pressure sensitive adhesive layer has a surface roughness Ra of 0.20 µm or less in a surface on a side of the resin substrate, which is measured in accordance with JIS B 0601.
