Abstract
A secondary battery, including an electrode assembly (140) including a positive electrode, a negative electrode, and a separation film between the positive electrode and the negative electrode, a holder (340, 640) that surrounds an outer surface of the electrode assembly (140), and a case accommodating the electrode assembly (140) and the holder (340, 640), wherein the holder (340, 640) includes a plurality of grooves (346, 348, 646, 648) through which the electrode assembly (140) is exposed.
