Abstract

The present disclosure relates a battery module and a method for manufacturing the battery module, the method including an application process of applying an adhesive material to at least one surface of a battery cell unit, wherein a plurality of battery cells are stacked in the battery cell unit, and the battery cells comprise a cell assembly and a tab protruding from the cell assembly, and wherein in the application process, the adhesive material is applied to one side of the at least one battery cell from which the tab does not protrude.
