Abstract

The present disclosure relates to a communication apparatus comprising the following. A transceiver of the communication apparatus, in operation, receives, a signal indicating a first sequence and a second sequence. A processing circuitry of the communication apparatus, in operation, obtains first information from the first sequence and obtains second information from the second sequence, detects presence or absence of a misalignment between the first information and the second information, and in a case of detecting the presence of a misalignment between the first information and the second information performs at least one of the following operations: (i) discarding at least one of the first information and the second information, (ii) performing a transition to a main radio monitoring operation of the communication apparatus, and (iii) performing an error operation.
