Abstract
This application provides a communication method, an electronic device, and a computer-readable medium. The method includes: User equipment accesses a first network standard via a first network device, where the user equipment and the first network device perform paging based on a first paging cycle; the user equipment receives a first instruction for handover from the first network standard to a second network standard; and the user equipment sends a paging cycle change instruction, where the paging cycle change instruction is used for causing a paging cycle of the user equipment to be the same as a paging cycle of a second network device corresponding to the user equipment after the user equipment accesses the second network standard. This application can avoid a call missing phenomenon caused because the paging cycle of the user equipment and the paging cycle of the second network device of the second network standard are different.
