Abstract

[Object] To evaluate suitability of a topical skin preparation with a sunscreen effect for a skin of a user.[Solving Means] An evaluation method includes: obtaining reflection light of UV light radiated to a skin of a user to which a topical skin preparation with a sunscreen effect is applied with UV light; estimating a UV protection value of the topical skin preparation with a sunscreen effect for the skin of the user on the basis of the reflection light; and evaluating suitability of the topical skin preparation with a sunscreen effect for the skin of the user by using the UV protection value.
